Description
A day of musical theatre workshops led by leading voice coach Mary King and top theatre choreographers. Join vocal and dance sessions which culminate in scratch performances of key West Side Story moments at the end of the day. Catch the premiere of a new piece of theatre created in response by Lambeth Wind Orchestra in collaboration with Norwood School, composed and conducted by John Holland. The event ends with a full screening of the film itself, and the chance to sing-along and even dress up!
10.30am onwards - Workshops.
1pm - Performance of 'Ride & Die' by Lambeth Wind Orchestra and Norwood School, part of The Bernstein Project Making Music Series.
4pm - Scratch performance of West Side Story moments.
5pm - Film screening.
