Description
People of Note are a large a cappella community choir from Bristol. Based on the principles of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network, they are led by founder choir member Maita Robinson. Their varied repertoire covers different genres including jazz, classical, gospel and contemporary pop songs. It includes world and African music as well as classic oldies from the likes of Cole Porter and Nina Simone, through to The Beatles, ABBA, Paul Simon and recent numbers from Blur, Human League and Elbow. This performance being on St Valentine's day, their songs will reflect the romantic nature of the day.
